The Prize Distribution Ceremony of Pre Primary, Primary, Secondary and Senior Secondary wings of Saint Soldier International school, Sec 28 B, Chandigarh for session 2018-19 was conducted from 11.5.19 to 15.5.19 to extol the feat of the students who excelled in various categories. The ceremony aimed at appreciating the hard work put in by the scholars and also galvanizing the other students. A total of 911 prizes were awarded.
Genius is nothing but an infinite capacity to accept challenges and this has been aptly proved by the outstanding results of Class X Board examinations. School topper Armeen Singh scored 98.4% followed by Sukhraj Singh 97.2%, Ayush Bhalla 96.8%, Kanishka Bhatia 94.2%, Hardit Singh 94%, Safeen 92.2%, Kalpana Dadwal 92.2 %, Khushi 92.2%. Principal Ms. Vijaya Sidhu congratulated the students for their outstanding result.
Certificates and trophies were awarded in different categories of academics and co scholastic areas of the school curriculum. The Senior Wing saw 110 scholars receiving the coveted awards of Academic Excellence, 48 got All Rounder trophies, 48 received 100 % attendance and 143 students received equally coveted sports trophies and certificates.
The Junior Wing, matched the excellence of their seniors by winning 132 awards in the All Rounders category, 49 for 100 % attendance, 171 awards of Academic Excellence and 13 trophies and certificates in various sports categories like Taekwondo, Yoga, Table Tennis, Football etc.
Art and Cultural Department of the school showcased their zeal and enthusiasm by winning 140 certificates and trophies in different categories such as Art & Craft, Singing, Dancing, Guitar and Keyboard for the Senior Wing whereas 57 such certificates and trophies were bagged by the Junior Wing of the school.
Principal Ms. Vijaya Sidhu applauded the students efforts and motivated them to soar to greater heights. She inspired the students with her encouraging words.
The Prize Distribution ceremony indeed proved to be a culmination of hard work, dedication and commitments of students, teachers and parents. It concluded on a happy note encouraging the students to establish further milestones in their journey of success.
