Saint Soldier International School, Sector 28-B, Chandigarh, proudly celebrates the outstanding performance of its students at the Chandigarh North District Athletics Championship 2025–26, held at the Sports Complex, Sector 7, organized by the Chandigarh Athletics Association.
The school athletes delivered an excellent performance by winning a total of 17 medals, including 9 Gold, 2 Silver, and 6 Bronze medals in various track and field events. Ashwin Rao of Class X won a Gold medal in the 600 metres race. Kush Dahiya of Class IX secured a Gold medal in pentathlon and a Silver medal in the 60 metres race. Shresth of Class X won a Bronze medal in the 600 metres race, while Sakshi of Class X secured a Gold medal in Shotput. Diya of Class VIII brought home a Silver medal in javelin throw. Tanveer Kaur of Class VII-D secured a Bronze medal in the triathlon event consisting of 60 metres, 600 metres, and long jump in the U-14 category.
In team events, the school achieved remarkable success in relay races. The 4×100 relay team comprising Ashwin Rao, Kush Dahiya, Dinkar, and Madhav won the Gold medal, while the 4×100 mixed relay team comprising Ashwin Rao, Kush Dahiya, Diya, Dinkar, and Aarya secured the Bronze medal. Yashveer won a Gold medal in the 4×100 mixed relay in the U-12 category.
The accompanying teachers, Ms Rajveer Kaur and Mr Surinder Pal Singh, also participated in the event, where Ms Rajveer Kaur won a Silver medal in Javelin Throw (35+ category) and Mr Surinder Pal Singh won a Gold medal in the 3000 metres Race Walk (35+ category).
School Principal Ms. Anisha Ghuman congratulated all the achievers for their dedication, perseverance, and sporting spirit, which brought pride and honour to the institution.
