Saint Soldier International School organised a CBSE Capacity Building Programme on Disaster Management to enhance awareness about disaster preparedness, safety measures and effective emergency response. Resource persons were Mr. Parveen Kumar Patpatia, retired Principal and Ms. Neerja, an accomplished educator and teacher trainer.
The resource persons shared valuable insights into disaster preparedness, prevention, risk reduction and effective emergency response. They also covered the framing of a School Disaster Management Plan, highlighting the importance of systematic planning, safety measures and preparedness in ensuring the well-being of students and staff during emergencies. The session emphasised the need for awareness, responsible decision-making and a proactive approach to managing unforeseen situations.
The workshop concluded with Principal Ms Anisha Ghuman thanking the resource persons in recognition of their valuable contribution.
