St. Xavier's Inter-School Football Trophy
Saint Soldier International School, Sector 28, Chandigarh, emerged as the champion in the V.V. De Rozario Six-a-side Soccer Tournament organized by St. Xavier's School, Chandigarh. In the Pre-Quarter Finals of the tournament, the St. Soldier team secured a 2-0 victory against Chitkara International School, with goals scored by Abhimanyu and Raghav. The momentum continued in the Quarter-Finals, as SSIS triumphed over Guru Nanak Public School, Chandigarh, with a remarkable 5-0 win, courtesy of two goals from Abhimanyu, one from Raghav, and two from Siddharth. In the Semi-Final, held on 9th September, Abhimanyu and Gurjot led the team to a 2-1 victory against St. John's High School, Chandigarh. St. Soldier then proceeded to the final match, where they faced the host team, St. Xavier's School, and clinched the tournament trophy with a 3-0 win, with two goals from Tejas and one from Abhimanyu. This tournament showcased the extraordinary talent and teamwork of SSIS, marking yet another proud achievement for the school.
