Saint Soldier Students Win First Prize at Ecotopia 2025
The students of Saint Soldier International School, Sector 28-B, Chandigarh made the school proud by winning the First Prize in Category e-waste Robo Challenge at the Interschool Environmental Fest ‘Ecotopia 2025 - Young Minds Shaping a Greener Tomorrow’ organised by RIMT World School, Chandigarh. The event saw enthusiastic participation from nearly 20 teams across the region.
The winning team, comprising of Class VI students Daksh Aggarwal, Rajveer Anand, Prayansh Goel and Alix Sharma, under the guidance of their Science teacher Ms. Urmila, designed an innovative robot named ‘Ecospy’ using e-waste materials. The compact robot was developed for sewage pipeline inspection, addressing the challenges of health risks to workers, darkness, bends in the pipeline and time consumption. Their project was widely appreciated for its creativity, practicality and eco-friendly approach.
School Principal Ms. Anisha Ghuman congratulated the young achievers and their mentor for this remarkable accomplishment, applauding their innovation and commitment towards shaping a greener tomorrow.
