Saint Soldier celebrates World Heritage Day

World Heritage Day was celebrated at Saint Soldier International School, Sec 28 B, Chandigarh with a special morning assembly by Class VII A. Akhil, Rupesh, Sarthak, Aryan, Nikhil, Varsha threw light on the problems faced by our heritage sites.

Students provided profound insight on prominent monuments, historical buildings and the challenges faced in protecting them due to lack of awareness in society. Amanpreet and Nishtha recited beautiful poems on our heritage. Amazing facts about prominent monuments in the world were also shared by Sanchit, Aviral, Yash, Ashpreet and Simran. It was an interactive session where the audience also participated. In the end a meaningful speech was given by Paramjot and Aradhna on the need to preserve our heritage. Students also took a pledge to preserve the rich heritage of India.
