It has been said that a library is not made, it is grown. This is a philosophy which we at Saint Soldier International School embrace. School Library provides academic resources for all constituents of the school i.e. students, faculty and administrative staff. The school has a spacious library (34 X 21 square feet) where resources are readily accessible to enhance and promote the total growth and development of the students.
The library endeavours to provide students with opportunities to learn how to utilize materials in a variety of formats to access information so that they can continue lifelong learning. The library boasts of excellent facilities and ample space with plenty of natural light for research, viewing, quiet reading or group collaboration.
The Library has over 14,000 books and DVDs which are arranged according to the Dewey Decimal System. There are also over 30 magazines, 36 periodicals, 6 dailies, 700 reference books class-wise and many websites and databases that the Library subscribes to.
For the facility of students, the following measures have been implemented:
- Good seating arrangement in Library.
- Planned arrangement of books and other learning media.
- Co-operative, trained staff.
