Students of Saint Soldier International School watched live telecast of ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha 2.0’ where Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi interacted with students, teachers and parents from India and abroad. Students were thrilled after receiving valuable tips from the Prime Minister regarding beating stress in every walk of life. He advised students not to get bogged down by the pressure of examination asserting that they are just facing a class examination, and not the litmus test of a lifetime. He also encouraged and warned them about the use of technology among the students and told parents to make it a ‘dinner table conversation’ so that the children do not get addicted to it. He told students that the menace of depression is very worrying and we need to talk openly about depression and mental health. We should always express, never suppress. He requested parents to not impose their unfulfilled dreams and aspirations on the children and not to compare them with other kids as that might create a negative effect. PM told the students to pick out a career or subject that inspires them and underlined the scope of subjects other than Maths and Science. He also advised them to have smaller targets so that self-assessment can help in achieving a bigger aim.
